it is a fairly expensive textbook that i hadn’t read. i actually had to read it for the final AFTER i had sold it but not shipped it yet.

i now realize that this book is really really good and don’t want to part with it. is there a way to refund the money or stop the sale or is my only option to sell the book and buy another one for myself?

Well here’s the full problem. Back in January 08 I bought an algebra textbook and when I received it it had black tape covering the top and back a little bit. In the description they didn’t mention the tape. I left the tape on because i thought it was ripped or something but when school ended and i wanted to sell the book i took the tape off and noticed it was an instructors edition. I contacted the seller and they didn’t respond and now I can’t sell it because it’s illegal to sell instructor books and also under the bar code it says NOT FOR SALE. So what should I do?? the book was for $100!!

I bought a textook on half.com and a little over a week later, the seller contacted me and said he had never placed the textbook up for sale. He said he would contact ebay, but never mentioned anything about a refund. I told him to refund me my money, but I haven’t heard anything back from him yet. I contacted ebay myself. Will I get my 93 dollars back?

How do you know if it is worth your while? I have a bunch of old textbooks, how-to books, and other non fiction books that I want to get rid of. What sells best online? Can you search completed sales for books like you can on ebay?

I received a sale today for one of my textbooks and when I checked to see the status of the member it says that they are “not a registered member”. What do I do in this situation? I’d rather cancel the sale then sending it out and risk not getting paid. Please help.

Hello. I posted 2 textbooks for sale today on half.com. But I am having trouble finding where I can look at things I have posted for sale. I have sold stuff on ebay but not half.com. So I am having some trouble. Anyone ever sold anything on this website and know where to go? Any help will be really appreciated!!!! Thanx!
