How long does it typically take for someone to buy a textbook on Ebay?

I just set up all of my books for sale on half.ebay.com and am waiting for them to be sold. How long should I wait before I change the price I am selling for? How do I know when it is sold? How often should I check it?
I literally just made this account and haven’t sold anything yet. Do you think someone would buy from an account that has a 0 next to it?

Where can i take my old textbooks that are not worth much?

I have 3 old textbooks that i CANNNOTTT get rid of. They are worth no money online but i keep seeing the one for sale for like $90 or higher. The ISBN #s are 0321269845, 0131859978, and
0131489046. One is an international edition so i dont know what website to sell it to.. the other two are computer books like on Microsft Office. I dont want to resort to Ebay because i dont know how to sell on there and I would rather just mail it to a company that will send me a check for the book….can anyone help?
