How long does it typically take for someone to buy a textbook on Ebay?
I just set up all of my books for sale on half.ebay.com and am waiting for them to be sold. How long should I wait before I change the price I am selling for? How do I know when it is sold? How often should I check it?
I literally just made this account and haven’t sold anything yet. Do you think someone would buy from an account that has a 0 next to it?
OK I need MAJOR help. My textbook is nowhere to be found and I have a lot of hw to do.?
If somebody, Anybody could help. I will love you forever.

Legal question, I recieved and instructors manual from an online textbook seller when I ordered a student copy?
I ordered a bok from half.com at the beginning of the semester. I ordered the student copy. I never used the book as my instructor used slides and PP. I then tried to sell the book and was told I have an instructors manual labeled “instructors Edition, not for resale. The ISBN is different from what I ordered and I believe the company “bait and switched” the sale. I contacted them and half.com and they said no refund could be made as the sale was more than 60 days ago. I just realized the error yesterday. Do I have legal remedies aside from the half.com return policy.
I honestly didn’t realize until yesterday. My instructor tests right off his slides and I haven’t had to. Either way your a dick and I could care less what you think, have fun trolling around.

Textbook Question?
I have a class in which I was given the 7th edition of the textbook. I have registered for the class and they are using the 8th edition of the same book. Brand new in the college bookstore is $150 with the study guide however it is an online class. Would you buy the 8th edition or just use the 7th? (Online sales are about the same as the bookstore)

How do I start a student textbook exchange website?
Does anyone know of easy to use software to serve this function?
I’m wanting to start a website where students can post book(s_ for sale, buyers can purchase the book(s) through my website, and then the buyer and seller merely exchange the book. This would be locally done, only at my college.
I’m looking for easy-to-use software for this with shopping cart functionality.
Thanks for your help,
Zac Neefe
Would a physics textbook from the early 1900’s still be reliable, or has physics changed since then?
Have there been any new theories or explanations? Have there been any old theories that have now been disproven since that time? Would it contain archaic information?
I found an old physics book for cheap at a library sale and bought it but I want to make sure it is going to have accurate information.
textbook buyer – how to tell if scam?
I half my textbooks up for sale through the Facebook Marketplace, but any time I get an interested buyer, it’s the same format.. this is one I got in my inbox today:
“Hello,
Good Morning to you,I’m getting in touch with you regarding your item for sale. I’m willing to purchase the item from you Upon request.Be aware, there is a serious commitment over this purchase. I will like to know your final asking price Of the item and Some of its recent pictures (its okay if non is available) and your opinion about the condition of the item and also Do you accept a (Certified Cashier Check /Us postal Money Order ) as a mode of payment?
Will you let a shipping company to come to your location to pick up of the item?
kindly get back to me with the full name you want on the payment and the address you want it to be send to and also your email address and your cell Phone Number.
Hope to Read Back from you soon?
PLEASE REPLY ME TO MY EMAIL ADDRESS HERE : tammylien001@gmail.com”
It’s always the same format, a foreign guy who never specifies what he wants to buy but just says “your item” and always asks if cashier check/money order is okay, always says someone else will pick it up, always leaves an e-mail to contact outside of Facebook.
Since it’s always the same format, I’ve been assuming it’s a scam. Is it safe to assume so? Otherwise, I’d feel bad if it’s just some foreign guy who doesn’t speak English very well and is just trying to buy a textbook for himself or to re-sell it himself. I don’t want to just ignore every message from someone foreign, but they all same fake. So my general question is, how can you really tell which are scams and which aren’t?
Whoa, didn’t even notice that silly spelling mistake. The first sentence up there should say “I HAVE” not “I half” haha
