Divination of the Day - March 12, 2026

For 2026, I’ll be alternating between “Ogham as Memes” (which you saw last week) and actual readings. You’ll see real omens I’ve pulled, though they might not always be live readings from that particular day. Today, I’ve got a blended reading for you.*
I really enjoy using blended readings in my personal practice. Somehow, mixing the “vibes” of two different divination languages gives me insight greater than the sum of their parts.
Yesterday, I got Vine first – for celebration of a job well done – and then the Devil card. What is there to celebrate about that symbolism? I think the key is in shadow work. In No Bad Parts, author Richard C. Schwartz speaks of acknowledging that all our “parts” want the same thing: the safety and happiness of our core being.
I’ve been doing a lot of work to understand those aspects of myself and to peel away layers of shame or pain that get in the way of using their strengths to reinforce choices more consistent with my goals. This blended reading is a nice validation that the work is…well, working.
We’re never truly done with the challenges in the Devil card, but we can definitely celebrate each insight and cycle of growth. Speaking more personally, I am grateful for the reminder that my record of overcoming bad days is 100% so far.
What connections do you see?
Brightest blessings,
Nicole
*Deck is the Luna Lapin Tarot, gifted to me by my brother. It’s sometimes silly, sometimes profound, and always delightful. Ogham set is my own creation, copyright Nine Fires Press.
